Refer to Doug Kutach's site for readings from Newton and Leibniz. Doug has instructions on specific things to pay particular attention to, but the readings are as follows: First read Newton's Scholium to Definition 8. Next read the excerpts Doug has prepared from the Leibniz-Clarke Correspondence.
Also read the excerpts Doug has also posted some from Berkeley's Treatise Concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge.
Finally, I have posted chapter 9 from an out-of-print, longer version of Professor Cooper's textbook as a PDF. You can find this chapter in the "Physics: Structure and Meaning" folder labeled "ch9 Long Edition" on the MyCourses site.
You should complete these readings by Thursday, February 19th.
